VLAD CIUREA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The development of contemporary neurosurgery keeps unraveling continuous progress in the field of neuroscience with completely new directions and applications in the neurosurgical field.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1154\" src=\"http:\/\/snpcar.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/p76.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/snpcar.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/p76.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/snpcar.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/p76-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/snpcar.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/p76-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Under these circumstances the International Neuroscience Institute of Hannover \u2013 Germany manages daily to achieve pure excellence by bringing together some of the best academic personalities in neuroscience and neurosurgery. Thus, the INI of Hannover has represented for 14 years the Mecca of European and possibly International Neurosurgery.<\/p>\n<p>Opened to the public in the year 2000 with the occasion of the Expo 2000 in Hannover, the INI was founded by Prof. Dr. Madjid Samii \u2013 one of the living legends of neurosurgery. This private hospital achieved an astonishing development in all the fields of neurosurgery and is in constant expansion; two new \u201cembassies\u201dwere opened in Tehran and Beijing &#8211; where two INI Centers have been built.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1155\" src=\"http:\/\/snpcar.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/p77.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"684\" height=\"339\" srcset=\"https:\/\/snpcar.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/p77.jpg 684w, https:\/\/snpcar.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/p77-300x149.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 684px) 100vw, 684px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Currently, the INI of Hannover is headquarters to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prof. Dr. Madjid Samii \u2013 specialized in skullbase tumors and acoustic neuromas (Who was bestowed with the Cross of Germany for special merits in the field of healthcare)<\/li>\n<li>Prof. Dr. Rudolph Fahlbusch \u2013 specialized in intracranial tumors and pituitary tumors.<\/li>\n<li>Prof. Dr. Helmut Bertalanffy \u2013 Vascular neurosurgeon and brainstem tumors<\/li>\n<li>Prof. Dr. W. Helwig \u2013 neuroendoscopy and neurosurgery of involuntary motion \u2013 Parkinson\u2019s and Epilepsy<\/li>\n<li>Prof. Dr. C. Di Rocco \u2013 pediatric Neurosurgery<\/li>\n<li>Prof. Dr. A. Samii \u2013 Neurosurgical technology and neuronavigation<\/li>\n<li>Prof. Dr. A. Nabavy \u2013 skullbase and sellar tumors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Together with these brilliant doctors also lies an important number of consultant and specialist neurosurgeons, backed up by a number of 20 residents. They all ensure the constant activity of the INI. The whole staff is continuously creating surgical solutions in extremely complexe and difficult cases, without neglecting the importance of training and research in the field of neuroscience and neurosurgery.<\/p>\n<p>In such an incredible atmosphere, Prof. Dr. Alexandru Vlad Ciurea has presented in January 2014 a paper about the embriology, the development and the performances of the brain. The paper was praised by the chairman of the INI of Hannover \u2013 Prof. Dr. M. Samii \u2013 who granted Prof. Ciurea the title of Visiting Professor as a reward for his activity.<\/p>\n<p>This was an incredible achievement by the Romanian Neurosurgical School in general and by Prof. Alexandru Vlad Ciurea \u2013 who, throughout his restless activity was an incredible ambassador of Romania and Romanian Neurosurgery in general and who is rightfully considered to be \u201cthe spiritual engine of contemporary Romanian neurosurgery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1156\" src=\"http:\/\/snpcar.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/p78.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4323\" height=\"2521\" srcset=\"https:\/\/snpcar.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/p78.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/snpcar.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/p78-300x175.jpg 300w, https:\/\/snpcar.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/p78-768x448.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 4323px) 100vw, 4323px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Professor Ciurea was for a period of 4 years a Vice President of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) and afterwards he was appointed as Chairman of the WFNS Nominating Committee.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"columns-download\">\n<p>\n             <a href=\"http:\/\/snpcar.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/pdf63.pdf\" class=\"button\"><i class=\"fa fa-download\"><\/i> DOWNLOAD ARTICLE<\/a>\n          <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The development of contemporary neurosurgery keeps unraveling continuous progress in the field of neuroscience with completely new directions and applications in the neurosurgical field.
